My Honeybee

The stylist wanted painterly, wild and light, with mostly peaches and yellows. So we gave them peonies and roses, astilbe and nigella, with clematis vines and sprigs of honeysuckle. And all the feathery grasses we could grab.

Loved the carpet, and a girl can't get enough chandeliers. Looking forward to seeing the final setup, thank you Pearl and Godiva for inviting us along!

Cool Cobalt

We showed you behind the scenes with this wedding, and now we got our hands on some pro shots from the talented Becky Male Photography.
You could get lost in these deep blues and purples (those delphs!),  and we love the literary nod to Penguin classics. Congrats to Lucy and Dimitri!

Behind the scenes

Flower ingredients laid out, ready and waiting to become someone's wedding bouquet.

Draped and wild with ivy tendrils and clematis, this bouquet is deep and overflowing with texture. The cornflowers and anemones add rich colour, but the 'love in the mist' nigella really seals the deal.

And the bride wore a cobalt blue dress, a match made in heaven.

Wild Memories

A call all the way from Australia for this one, such a gorgeous funeral piece.
They wanted it to feel like a walk in the meadow, so we did what we could. It was lovely and scented from all the lavender and rosemary, and of course the eucalyptus. Those little tiny muscari really lift your heart.

Full of blousy roses and love - always special to send a goodbye message for someone.

Dewy Meadow Wedding

'Hand picked from a meadow', but really from Holland, our little secret. This bride wanted something fresh and wild, and she sure got it.
Flower girl posies are just begging for those chamomile daisies. And those delphs with that clematis! Summer is surely on its way.

Secret Flowers

We got some photos back from a wedding we did recently for the beautiful Sam, and just wanted to share them here!

She had the sweetest idea for her bouquets - each one had a special hidden flower specifically chosen to represent each of her bridesmaids. Yellow spray roses in one, pink piano rose in another, and blue muscari, how cute is that? Her own bouquet had a secret slipper orchid, which held its own personal meaning. We just love working with such creative brides, it makes our job so much easier!

The bouquets also featured white ranunculus, white anemones, white sweet peas, blue thistles and eucalyptus. I loved all the stark white tones mixed with dark accents, and the bouquets matched the lace dresses perfectly. What beautiful photographs too!

Becky Male Wedding Shoot

Recently did a little photo shoot at Leigh Court with the lovely Becky Male, and she sent us over some of her gorgeous photos.
She wanted a bright and unusual bouquet, so we filled it with vintage roses, anemones, thistles, scabiosas and of course had to have some billy buttons. All the different textures look lovely with the lace dress, and the last shot here is so dreamy!
